“Give to the Max Day” is a one-day fundraising event on November 9, 2011 that will unite local Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC communities to support their local nonprofits. The goal is to get thousands of local residents to support their favorite regional charity, raising millions in donations and grants in just 24 hours.
Hudson Restaurant & Lounge owner Alan G. Popovsky, who has signed on to the effort, was interviewed in this weekend’s Washington Post on how he sets priorities for philanthropic giving.
Over the years, we at Hudson have been proud to be part of many fundraising events including special events to support local DC organizations like Mary’s Center, Jubilee Housing and Hoop Dreams. We have also supported larger regional efforts including charity events to support victims of 9/11. We host fundraisers and special events of all kinds, and we also contribute gift cards and gift certificates to local auctions, who depend on support from the local business community.
Most recently, Hudson Restaurant & Lounge has supported the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure with our “Pink” events, Becky’s Fund, the Washington Ballet, the District Sample Sale, and the Washington Humane Society’s Fashion for Paws.
We at Hudson enjoy being part of and supporting our community in Washington DC. Learn more about the private event venue possibilities here at Hudson Restaurant & Lounge.
